This trailer is designed for shallow water launching without the need of a tilt trailer. The frame is made of lightweight 14ga. square tubing. The tires are the small 12” trailer tires. The bunks are laid parallel on their side along the trailer frame not upright horizontal across the top. This lets the bottom of the boat rest 12” off the ground. The axle kit was purchased from Northern Tool & Equipment Co. (www.northern-online.com) as well as the trailer coupler, tires, light kit, fenders, and wench. The bunks and carpet were purchased from the local home improvement store. Square tubing was purchased from a local machine shop. The frame was assembled in one day.
